Yes, you can style your hair normally after the hair extensions installation. However, it's best to use heat protectant sprays when using heat styling tools. Also, always ensure to brush your hair gently, starting from the ends and working your way up, to prevent any potential damage to the extensions.

Each method requires maintenance of varying degrees. Many methods can be removed and re-installed if you care for your extensions properly, while others are single use.

As Superior Hair extensions are a premium human hair product - textures may vary, but you are always guaranteed a natural look. You will always need to blend your natural hair into the extensions weather blow-drying or styling to ensure a seamless blend. Your stylist will take care of this for you in-salon following installation.  

Yes - all methods can be worn up if they are placed correctly. Tell your stylist if you wear a ponytail often and they will install your extensions to suit.  

Most methods we install are reusable for up to 6-12 months when maintained well at home. This includes using the correct products and storing the hair correctly when not in use.  

Our fusion extensions are out only method that cannot be reused because  of the removal process.

Your hair needs to be around 7-8 inches long to have semi-permanent hair extensions installed. This is to ensure that your extensions bonds are hidden well within your hair.  

The shorter your hair is the more hair you will need to add for a seamless blend. Blunt hair styles will also require a lot of hair for blending into hair extensions. 

As Superior Hair extensions are human hair you can colour/tone them. However, we recommend taking extreme care when colouring them as any chemical process can alter the hair quality of your extensions.  

You should never bleach or try to lighten the extensions as this will cause the hair to become dry and damaged. 

If you do choose to colour our extensions, its best that you have it done professionally and a test strand should be carried. 

All Superior Hair extensions are made from 100% Preimium Remy human hair - but this doesn’t mean you wash them the same way as your natural hair.

Removable hair extensions like clip ins and halo extensions only need to be washed every 15 to 20 uses. They don’t get dirty very easily, and this is because they do not produce natural oils like your scalp does.

Semi-permanent extensions that can not be removed easily can be washed similarly to your natural routine, but we do suggest washing hair only 2-3 times per week. Make sure to massage gently and to avoid shampoos with parabens, alcohol, or sulphates. 

Make sure your hair products are free from sulphates, parabens and keratin to ensure you maintain the health of your extensions.  

These ingredients will strip any natural oil left in the extensions, making the dry and tangle prone.  

We recommend using products specifically made to deeply moisturize and nourish hair.  Hair oils and serums can be used on the mid lengths and ends for days between washes.  

It is also important to use heat protection on your extensions whenever you are blow-drying or using any heat tools for styling. 

You can use hair masks and treatments regularly on the extensions. Deep conditioning treatments can even be switched out in place of a regular conditioner. It will penetrate the hair better and make them more manageable. Just be sure to avoid the roots and bonds to avoid any slippage. 

Since natural hair is often more than one shade, Superior Hair recommends using more than one shade in your installation. Our team can mix subtle tone differences to compliment each other for a natural look.  

Extensions can also create a balayage without colouring your hair. 

Our reusable methods will generally last 6-12 months if you take care of them well at home. To ensure your hair extensions last as long as possible, follow our maintenance advice such as washing them sparingly, using heat protectants, and storing your extensions in a cool, dry place without direct sunlight.

No hair extensions method installed at Superior Hair should ever damage your natural hair if you care for them correctly and they are installed correctly.  

It is not uncommon to see some hair fall at your maintenance service; this is hair that would have fallen naturally but your extensions have held them in place.
