Dyeing or colouring your hair extensions
Because the hair has been processed and sterilized we do not advise doing any more chemical treatments on it as it can easily be ruined affecting the quality and desired colour. If you do decide to dye it is best to use a semi permanent colour or colour conditioner (always lighter to darker never darker to lighter, but can be dyed up to two shades darker).
•Do not rub or tangle the hair, simply apply the dye in a patting and stroking motion from root to tip. The hair can be dyed more than once, but remember, like your own hair, the condition will be affected the more you dye the extensions.
•Always carry out a strand test before dyeing whole hair extensions. Dyeing hair extensions requires professional experience. Once hair has been dyed we cannot be held responsible for the dyeing process
How to extend the life of your extensions
•Try to reduce your hair washing twice a week
•Only use a quality shampoo that nurtures and restores your hair wash the hair in one direction from top to bottom
•Avoid hair oils such as argan and Moroccan oil as they can weaken keratin bonds
•Always use the right soft brush daily, taking care to gently tease out any knots that form around the roots of your hair
•When brushing your hair, start from the bottom and work your way up while holding the top part to keep it from shredding or stretching
•We don’t recommend swimming as chlorine is very damaging to extensions
•Use only low settings on curling irons and blow dryers
•Let hair dry naturally if you can
